scmurs said:If I understand what you're asking by "up and down", the result of pivoting the steering post forward makes the sweep of the handle bars "flatter", ie. more parallel to the ground. It does not eliminate all of the "up and down", but it will keep the inside handlebar ( side coming towards the rider when turning ) off of your knees and the gas tank. Price is $150.00 + shipping for the complete kit.
Yep, thats what I meant, thanks.

CR's is kinda a joke, its just a couple of brackets, looked at that one last year and compared to WC's, not even a chance. I don't believe they include a lower bushing either. Now I might upgrade to the OFT, nothing wrong with the WC, but the olite is nice, the lower bushing isn't just a machined stock plastic, and i looks pretty sick. The difference in the pics above doesn't look like much but let me tell you it feels so much better to ride, much more natural possition. OFT I might be callin you for one, any more money for a black one?

#1 - Our parts are machined from billet aluminum and 100% Oilite
#2 - Our kit includes new UPPER AND LOWER bushings that will replace the wear prone OEM plastic bushings. With our kit, chances are that you will NEVER have to replace these parts again.
#3 - Contrary to other statements, there is not another option on the market that will move the bars further forward, while retaining the OEM plastic dash. This offers the very closest "feel" to any traditional sled on the market.
First, I want to itterate that Chad at CR builds very beautiful, and high quality parts. That being said, comparing our relocator with CR's kit is like comparing apples to oranges... an absolutely unfair comparison.
Both products lean towards a comparable end, but means to arrive there are entirely different.
Here is a direct quote from a customer of ours:
"Here is your closest competition comparison;
WildChild Steering Relocation - $100+Shipping
- 2 billet relocation arms
- Utilizes weak upper OEM steering block
- Provides you with backside of lower OEM plastic block machined to the correct angle
OFT Forward Steering kit - $150 + Shipping
- Precisely machined billet aluminum upper mount to correct angles and tolerances – complete with oilite bushings to replace weak factory components.
- Precisely machined lower steering block to correct angles – complete with oilite bushings to replace weak factory components.
- This piece will save customers money in the long term
Not only does your product do a better job for what it is intended, but it will save the customer money in the long run!!"
It's entirely up to you Darnello...
You have to expect a sales pitch from a manufacturer... we want to sell our stuff.
You can bank on our customers comments.
Thanks,
Moto

I have a Relocator in black and it is amazing. I also have a few other parts from OFT and as good as all the parts are I can't believe how good the customer service is with Scums and Moto. Best people I have dealt with in a long time in the snow industry
Thanks guys!

Thanks guys!
