OFT Racing-Steering Relocator, not just for the mountains

My new 09 MTX just showed up Tuesday and I'll be ordering up the black OFT for mine. I was able to check it out at Haydays and it makes a huge difference in the riding position feel.

Does it still make the bars move up and down, just further forward? or does it make them move back and fourth like other sleds?

Also, how much?

If I understand what you're asking by "up and down", the result of pivoting the steering post forward makes the sweep of the handle bars "flatter", ie. more parallel to the ground. It does not eliminate all of the "up and down", but it will keep the inside handlebar ( side coming towards the rider when turning ) off of your knees and the gas tank. Price is $150.00 + shipping for the complete kit.

For the 08,09, and 2010. OEM design hasn't changed.

Thanks for the help Roest ;)!

Did you ever find a motor for your Nytro? Saw some videos of the Gyrocopter here on TY. Pretty cool.

Still looking for a motor. Keep your eyes and ears open. It went into a BD-1. Kudos to a good product. I'll be ordering one soon too.

I think Hauck still has my old stock motor for sale, if that is what you are looking for. Had around 1200 miles on it then.

I also ordered a 121" - 144" kit and all I can say is wow. The parts are very well made, everything is included and the packaging was again awesome.

I'm waiting on an MTX heat exchanger kit before I start installing this since I have everything apart now and I might as well make that easier on myself. I'll post some details on the installs when I get to it.

Thanks Scott.

X2.
Across the pond to my workshop in three work days is impressive...!

I hear ya. I work with programming/web technology but sometimes I even marvel at the power of the interwebs to get great stuff that even half a generation ago you wouldn't have even heard of. I doubt this was the route but here's where these great parts started and where they went.

WTF...???
There was no loudspeaker included in the 136" kit...

LULZIES!

I tried to move it and the mouse docking charger but they are both kind of wired in which makes it a PITA to move.

Sorry Alatalo, that was a Canadian option only. :tg:

In all seriousness, I'm overwhelmed by the feedback from all of you. I can't tell you how much I appreciate the compliments and excitement from everyone.

It's been great getting to "know" so many people on this site and trying to come up with the solutions that everyone is looking for. We really are trying to make the best aftermarket parts for Yamaha sleds.

Keep in mind that this is all made possible by this awesome website. I first met Tom ( Mr. Sled ) at Haydays in the fall of 2002. His vision for this site and his dedication to it, make it possible for all of us to benefit from it, and should not go un-noticed. So, kudos to you Tom and keep up the awesome work. ;)!

Thanks for all of the support and thank you Tom.

I just need a little reassurance.. I'm 6'4" and in the past i did alot of stand up riding but on a vmax chassis that wasn't set up for it.
