Ever since I got my Nytro in '08 the sweep of the bars seemed weird. I got used to it but this season I looked at my sled with fresh eyes and decided to make some ergo changes to make my sled more similar to my dirt bike. After searching and reading things on TY about the different steering post kits available, the OFT kit looked the nicest and best built.
When the parts arrived I was impressed with the quality. A lot of thought and machining went into the kit and the color, photograph directions are very good. One of the pictures showing the bending of the lower mounting block studs can be a little confusing but it has been addressed in some other threads here on TY.
The OFT kit puts your handlebars more forward and allows for the bars to sweep in a more side to side motion than the up and down like the steering wheel in your vehicle. Before I got the kit I paid attention to what my body was doing while riding with the stock setup. I noticed that at speed, moving the bars in an up and down fashion wasn't helping anything stability wise. I also noticed that when cornering hard, I was fighting the bars since they got in the way. When standing and corning the ends of the bars would hit my upper legs. It was always annoying but until I rode with the kit, I didn't realize how much I was fighting the stock set up.
With the OFT kit and my taller WRP seat, my Nytro feels really good and natural in both the bumps, corners and at high speed. For the Nytro's intended purpose, it should have come this way from the factory. In addition, the OFT kit removes any slop you may have had in your steering post. The stock plastic blocks are replaced with billet aluminum blocks equipped with oil-lite bushings. Rock solid and bulletproof. I'll post some pics of my sled tomorrow but I am stoked about my set up. It is hands down better than stock and easier to ride in all conditions.
I had some reservations about putting more body weight forward on the Nytro but I've not seen any downside to it. The control you gain is well worthwhile. I think the Nytro should have been set up to be more rider forward but I wonder if Yamaha though it might alienate their long term customers who came off the Deltabox chassis? In any case for me, it made the sled easier to ride.

I have the relocator but not the seat, i do want the seat but for a piece of foam and seat covering its very expensive even if you get the kit, it looks great and the ones i have sat on felt much better, but it comes down to the cost for me this year too much coin has already made it way into/onto the sled already lol.
QFT makes a great product, i love the bar postion now with my 3" riser.

X3 - I got one of these for my personal sled (FX Nytro SE) and love it. I like it so much we will be stocking these in the store as I feel it is a must have if you are a taller rider or rider looking for a much more aggressive riding angle for working the steering. I have C&A Razors on my sled and they require extra steering effort due to the aggressive keels on them (boy would power steering be nice!) and the OFT Relocater gives you a much better angle to push and pull on the bars along with the transition from sitting to standing is even easier and much more comfortable. When you are standing with the bars turned full angle the bars aren't nearly as close to hitting your thighs and the lower side is about 2 inches higher so you don't feel like your one arm is reaching as low as it can go to hold on. Also when riding aggressively you can get up more forward on the seat in the corners and use more body language for muscling the sled through the corners. Overall this product rocks!

X4 - it completely changes how this sled feels. After one ride of a buddies mtx with it on there, I had mine installed within a week. I didn't want to go back to my sled without it
This is how the sled should have come from the factory.

Here is a less expensive option for a 2 inch taller seat, I have one and love it. Especially with the relocator.

OFT Racing makes the kit. You can find it on their website www.oftracing.com. Not sure who their resellers are, buy they sell direct as well.

Here are some pics of my sled.
Here's a shot of me stuck while playing in one of my favorite riding areas. The OFT relocator and seat worked out well for playing in the hills.
I decided to not modify the stock upper bolt bracket. Instead I just used the retainer clip, new bolts and nylock nuts. I didn't bother with reinstalling the rubber trim piece either. I can really feel those couple ounces of dropped weight!

No complaints from me about the kit over a year later. I had some reservations about bending the lower bushing mounting bolts but I've had no issues.
If anyone is following the threads about the new Procross Cats, there is lots of discussion about the horizontal versus vertical steering posts. The Nytro comes stock with a post that is too horizontal IMO. The OFT kit helps to correct the angle to make it more vertical.
