My front pivot arm in my rear supencion broke on one side the other day and caused my shock to ride at an awkward angle. This caused a break in the line just inside of the cap on the solenoid. I am nervous about pulling this cap off as I have read somewhere that this is a one way street as it has to be put back by ohlins. Has anyone repaired this problem before? If so please explain. I did a search to try to find the thread that talks of dismantalling this shock and had no luck, if anyone has that link that would be great also. Thanks guys. :o|

we had a broken wire on our gt last winter and when we went to fix it we found that the solenoid was also shot, both had to be replaced...i think it was a $250 headache, im not sure though that was in november.

yes you can replace just the solenoid and the lead wire if shock is good it is a simple fix
