2006 GT...the shock icon only appears briefly when I initially turn the key to on.
There is 11.89 volts on the EC harness at the shock with the key on. But the solenoid does not click. If I hook the solenoid direct to 12v it does click. I've tried 2 shocks and no difference. The shock feels full soft while riding.
What am I missing here????

just went throgh this with mine, check plug at reverse lever going to shock with a meter should have 4.5-6 ohms, if good check fuse and for power if good your ecu is likely the culprit that was my problem!! hope this helps, u can also check for continuity from plug at rev lever going into sled it goes directly to ecu and wire location on ecu can be found on a scematic easily

I have no continuity (open circuit) at the plug by the rev handle but there is 11.8v there.

I have no shock symbol this year either....so the plug going into the shock should have 4.5-6 ohms?

yes hook meter to shock solinoide wires sould have that ohm reading if not wire broke or solenoid no good, had to replace my solinoide once easy to do ,about 130 buck canadien from shock tec, then my ecu woulnt recognize shock! put a new used ecu in has bin fine since

the pug by rev lever going to shock should have continuity and proper ohm reading, same plug by rev lever going into sled should not have continuity, 1 prong goes to fuse for power and other prong goes directly to ecu, u can check that wire from plug to ecu for continuity but chances r its good! so all in all if ohms r good and u have power try a ecu from a buddys sled to see if ur shock icon comes up,all ecus r the same from 06-10 except mountain, even if the sled didn't come with ec shock the ecus have the program in all of them, good luckI have no continuity (open circuit) at the plug by the rev handle but there is 11.8v there.

Last year I lost my solenoid, this year had to replace cord/plug from gearbox to shock location. At 13,000 miles to be expected when you consider all the snow and ice that builds up in the skid around the shock and connector.

From the sounds of things I may just have two bad solenoids. I put 12V right to them and they click but I'm using a battery so they my need more juice than the ECU feeds them to work (I'll do the Ohms test on the solenoid...I misread HABS post and was measuring the ECU side). The wiring seems to be fine so hopefully its the solenoid....and if not I'll test a different ECU.

i have never herd a click from mine while working properly? i didnt think they made any sound? mabe music in garage to loud??!!From the sounds of things I may just have two bad solenoids. Well I haven't either but I thought I'd just try it...and they click. It's quite likely that the car battery has so much more power that it's louder/faster/stronger movement. I have been told that they do make an auditable noise when the shock is out of the sled. I was doing all the testing with the shock out of the sled.
I've got a solenoid on order from bjowett so I'll see what happens when it gets here. I just cranked up the rebound and preload for now to keep it from bottoming too hard in the mean time.
