For all you Nytro Gurus:

I have a set of Ohlins front shocks off of my RX1 that I am parting out. They were a huge upgrade to the front end of the RX1. The Center to center eye length is 17 1/2". The number on the spring is 180-84/23 L302. (not sure what that means)

Will these shocks work on my 2009 Nytro XTX? Or am I better off ebaying these and going with a shock package specifically designed for the Nytro?? I would freshen these up anyways, so they could be re-valved if that possible.

Would they be a good upgrade? Just seems to be a shame to not be able to use a quality piece that is already paid for (best part) and sitting in my garage.

Thanks for any advice/help in advance!

Brent

Sounds like they are the right length. I would call Bruce at pioneer performance, he could give more info on springs and valving. Fill in your location before the site police get you lol.

These can be adapted fairly easily. Drop me a PM and I'll give you the specifics. The 180-84/23 is the part number for the spring. It's 46mm ID x 270mm length with a 2.3kg rate.
