Ohlins vs Stock Shocks

Just put a set on last week and I could tell night and day, way better control. Just to make shure put the stockers back on took it for a ride and went right back to the shop to throw them in the dumpster.

I hope ur right cause i got mine coming and the 03 needs these and rear suspension i cat believe yammi would give us the rear they did i hope the expertX is much better

Got my shocks today.How much preload do u use i am gfoing to try just enough to take the rattle out of thepring and start ther but if u guys know what works i will try that too thanks

I'm pretty sure 5mm preload is stock on the Ohlins, but start out at zero preload (just enough to hold the spring tight).

Ditto for what NY Warrior said, seems to make it corner a bit flatter as it drops the center of gravity a bit.

2004 Warrior / Ohlins

A buddy of mine just bought a used 2004 Warrior and it had an Ohlins shock on the skid (the rear shock). I know Ohlins is a great shock, but what would be the difference that he should expect out of this versus a stock shock?

The ohlins shouldnt fade like the stock shocks and they have much better compression and rebound.The precision specs should be better to

Well i am very excited about the ohlins put them on today and they look sweet so i hope they perform and i can feel the difference cause looks really dont do it for me i like the total package
