Ohlins vs Stock Shocks

Got my shocks today.How much preload do u use i am gfoing to try just enough to take the rattle out of thepring and start ther but if u guys know what works i will try that too thanks


I also have set of straight rate springs forsale now if anyone needss a set

I'm pretty sure 5mm preload is stock on the Ohlins, but start out at zero preload (just enough to hold the spring tight).
 
Ditto for what NY Warrior said, seems to make it corner a bit flatter as it drops the center of gravity a bit.
 
2004 Warrior / Ohlins

A buddy of mine just bought a used 2004 Warrior and it had an Ohlins shock on the skid (the rear shock). I know Ohlins is a great shock, but what would be the difference that he should expect out of this versus a stock shock?
