I'm assuming an oil change should be done annually, regardless of how many miles put on a season. The reason I'm asking, however is because I got laid up unexpectedly last winter and didn't put on the mileage I normally do. I probably only put 600 miles on my '17 Ltx LE. The oil was changed last December (gear oil as well. ) Do I need to change for this season or can I just go? I'm not doing my '09 Vector because that only had 400 put on it and the last time that happened the dealer actually said don't bother. So, thoughts on the Sidewinder? Thanks in advance.

IMO, if it were mine, I'd change it but that might depend on how/where it was stored. If it was in a heated space the whole time, I wouldn't change it. But if it was cycling between cold and warm I would definitely change it (condensation!).

It is stored in an insulated garage. Heat is not on all of the time, however.

Change it. If it had any temp swings at all (unless it’s in a constant 70 degree temp controlled building it’s bad temp swings) or if it has been run at all it’s got corrosive combustion by-products and moisture sitting in there. Cheap insurance to change and that goes for any type of vehicle/engine.
