I put threaded inserts in where there was rivets. Much easier to take on and off. Pretty slick!

So do the O rings need to be replaced each time we change oil? I don't remember having to do that on my other Yammy 4 strokes. Anyone got a part number from orielly or size of those O rings? I didn't buy the kit because I want to run Mobil 1 and the K&N oil filter. Thanks.

I say yes. Have done 2 oil changes to my Winder so far, and each time there is some apparent damage to the oil ring. So for the price and peace of mind, yes do it.

My bikes have the same O ring set up on the oil drain plugs. I just don't want to risk a leak, but if you look real close at the O ring you can see where the compression does do some damage to the outer part of the O ring.
