I have a 2006 nytro with about 300 miles on it and I want to dump the oil, the guy I bought the sled from misplaced the manual so I don't know how much or what type of oil. I will be only replacing the oil not the filter, would mobile 1 synthetic be ok, or should I go with the pricey yamalube? Thanks Jason

It holds 3 quarts. Manual calls for 0w-30 Yamalube (of course) I changed my oil this last spring before storage & used Mobil 1 0w-40 synthetic. I had about 1,600 miles on it then & now have 2,350 on the clock.

So, I think Mobil 1 is just as good as anything & I'll continue to use it.

Changed the oil yesterday, used just under 3 liters, much easier than the apex. Could not find any drain plugs on the motor? Just assumed that you drain the motor from the oil filter port.

There is a drain for the crankcase. It's an allen head bolt, and if you look closely, you can see the copper washer at the base. Also, oil capacity is 3.0L with a filter change; 2.8L without a filter change. Overall capacity is 3.7L.
