Oil Filter

Well its right underneath the battery, which is in the battery holder, which is underneath the airbox, which is under the dash assembly, which is under the windshield.

Remove all those items in inverse order and you'll find where Yamaha hid the oil filter.

Exactly, lol!!!! Sure would have been nice of Yamaha to have designed an access panel or hatch on the bottom of the sled to get at that filter from the bottom. Or even a panel coming from the front nose area of the sled. They could have gotten access in there somehow.

Thing is, I've heard it's the same or worse on the 2011/2012 Apexes to get to the filter! :o|

Better yet, what's wrong with a couple of braided steel lines & a mount by the oil tank for a remote filter location.

Why not have the filters in the same location like the vectors? Filter at the bottom undo the belly pan to drain the oil and replace filter.

Yeah, you would think they would make it easier to change, but I guess if it's only supposed to be changed every 10,000 miles then it doesn't need to be easily available.
