oil flow?

how does the oil in the crankcase(dry sump)flow up hill back to the oil tank after it is pumped through crank and to cams and drains by gravity to bottom of dry sump??????????

Good question!! I never really thought that one out either. I would bet though, that the majority of the oil is pumped into the valve covers and then it can drain back into the tank. Not sure what happens to the oil down at the mains. Maybe it is recirced into the pump. Just a guess. Dang good question though!

It is pumped back to the oil tank.
