Please help I have a 07RS Venture and an 07 RS Rage that are both putting oil into the air box, When the sleds are running its a steady flow of oil, I cant believe both would have a faulty crankcase vent valve. ANY HELP PLEASE.

Sounds to me you have a pinched/kinked vent. There is a service bulletin published by Yamaha for this issue. When removing the air box and reinstalling, you have to make sure when reinstallng you don't pinch/kink the tube. I had the same issue on my '10 Vector.

K thanks I'll check that

well its not a kinked hose because it does it with the airbox removed, oil comes out the large hose that attaches to the top of the air box. Guess I'll have to do more research

X3.
When checking your oil, are you screwing the dipstick all the way in to see your level?
Just rest it on the top of the fill hole and take your reading there. If it is in the upper hash marks your good to go.

You had me wondering Irv because I would screw in the stick to check my oil level. I just checked my manual and you are right! Doing it "my way" would have one adding a bit less oil to the reservoir. I'm going to check my oil level later to see where it's at.

Just to be clear, did you follow the hose that goes down the right side of the engine?

Not over full on oil, and yes I followed the hose all the way down to the side cover, however I'm wondering if thats a check valve that the hose connects to because I cant blow through it.
