We're suppose to get a half descent amount of SNOW in the next few day's... we'll be riding this weekend!!! and fishing, Walley is biting like crazy these day's...6 & 8lbs last week!

that's nice walleye's,here people fish lake timiskaming wich is the same body of water as the ottawa river and all they get are small ones,12 to 14'',i dont bother going,and i dont have time cuz im always on the trail,but at least when the trails are not opened you can sled on the river,the last 2 days,i staked all of my 30 km of trail,my trail is ready to be opened

Our trails are opened since Dec 21st, their not in the best of shape but aren't to bad, with the snow forecasted will be in good shape by next week!

we've been trying to plan a trip in the ottawa region for a while with no luck,either it was too warm or snow wasnt good,but we will try again,every year we go on a 7 day trip,been doing that for over 10 years but it would be nice to try somethin different,this year were heading to sudbury,manitoulin island area,next year we might drive up to hearst and leave from there and go west,last year we bought our quebec pass and went north up to matagami,amos,senneterre area,it was a good trip except for the damn rain

Give me a shout if you're in the area, we have real nice trails along the St-Lawrence Seaway and the Larose Forest...good places to stay and eat right on the trails, and if you have your Quebec trail pass I'm only 40 min or so, I always buy both we take off early in the morning like 7am and never know where were going to end up at...

My buddy and I have never been North of Ottawa and keep saying every year we have to go! but never do...this year my buddy is going to have a short season...he works for the RCMP as a "IT" tech and 2 weeks prior to the Vancouver Olympics is on call 24/7 and must be available at all times during and before games.

You guys may want to keep a very close eye on the oil level. If it lost oil before, it will loose it again. If all inside it is O.K., then maybe you caught it in time. If you did, you were very lucky.
