I was changing my oil the other day and noticed that with the dip stick plugged in and out of the sled there was no warning light on my dash.so I checked the level with my multimeter and there was nothing. Then I jumped the plug and still nothing on my dash. Please help its a 07 apex.

It is only wired to the warning light and the ecu. It is a simple switch, on and
off. Bad ground maybe, (chocolate wire) or a burn't bulb? Don't know what
voltage it should read but low since it's off the ecu.

The switch is open in the up position / no continuity
check the bulb
main fuse and signal fuse
battery
stator coil and pick up coil
main switch
main relay
meter assembly
rectifier/regulator
cdi.

That is per the manual of what to check.

Was the sled running when you did the check? I know on my phazer the light never went on untill I changed the oil and did not add enough oil. Only when I started the sled did it tell me I was low on oil.
