I've been having some problems with my sled as of late pulling rpm's (8,200) and a engine bog when holding it to the bar. I talked to my dealer and he said to check the oil to make sure it wasn't overfilled and to change the plugs. I did check the oil and lowered it slightly and when I went to change the plugs they were completly black. I haven't had a chance to ride it since (lack of snow in NY), but I'm hoping this solves the problem. Do you think the overfilled oil from the factory could have fouled the plugs just enough to make it run like that? anyone else experience this?

My sled was overfilled and it did not fowl the plugs, it blew all the oil out of the crankcase vent and into the air box then it drained out the bottom of the belly pan. I saw a bunch of oil on the trail and thought I was going to have to tow it back, it seemed to be just over filled. It would only leak out at WOT.

It's very important to remember not to rev the engine til the red temp light goes out. This is also important that you don't start the engine and then shut it off before the red light goes out. Not sure if you were told this information or not. My dealer said if you do either of these, you could fowl a plug.

When the oil level is high enough in the tank at WOT there is enough vacuum to suck the oil through the vent line into the air box which then sucks into the motor. When doing an oil change I now only use 3 litres
