oil pressure lite wont go out

started the sled this morning and the oil lite just wont go out,it always took about a minute to go out before,now what do i do? it has oil in it,pressure switch,oil pump i need help.......... please.. oops its an 08 rtx with 6200 miles if that helps

How long did you wait for it to go away? I tipped mine on the side a couple weeks ago and the low oil pressure was showing on the gauge and after it ran for a few minutes it went away.

im afraid to let it run to long,i started it moved my wife sled in to the garage went back to mine lite was still on throttled it gently it shut off and would not start let it cool down it refired made it to the garage but i dont think i should run it any more without doing some testing, thanks

Is it the oil level light or oil pressure light? If its oil level light, mine did the same thing from new. I over fill it by a little bit and don't have that issue anymore.

o well guess i should have read the book...... i have had the yellow temp lite on and i thought the red like each time i started this thing was my oil lite, not, it is the anti freeze level duuu well good news bad news the anti fluid is low not to bad here is the bad bad part a stud pulled half way out took out the heat exchange down for the count,i posted a while back when is the track shot well i guess i got my own answer if you get 5000 miles out of it better change it i got 6200 on it and now im looking at a new track,studs,and a heat exchange dam well thanks for all your help problem solved guess i should have read the book first before i panic next time thanks again duke.......
