I did some searching and sounds and looks to be the problem, heres the story..
I recently bought a 07 Phazer FX and did an oil and filter change on it, tightened all drain plugs and filter up to spec. Only been out for one ride since and noticed oil drip off the skid plate on the garage floor so I took off all the panels and air box to investigate.
At first inspection I thought it was the oil filter leaking so tightened it up a little more and then realized there was an oil drip hanging off the oil pressure switch right above/beside the filter so I unplugged the switch to investigate and found oil inside the electrical connection, this doesnt seem right to me.. i cleaned and wiped up as much oil residue i could and ran the engine till warm and then checked the oil pressure switch electrical plug connection and found oil residue inside the connection again and the oil filter was dry right around.
What are peoples opinions?? Leaky oil pressure switch, common or possible problem?
Thx

Did you make sure that the o-ring from the old oil filter was not left on the engine? It could be spraying onto the sensor. Other than that, you could try screwing the sensor down a little bit to see if it's loose. The other thing around there would be oil cooler. Check that the bolts are tight as well as the hoses for the coolant.
You could run it with the airbox off just to check for the leak. It will start and run like crap and give a bunch of codes due to disconnected sensors but it should be enough for you to check for the leak.

Have you had the Phazer on its side lately?? left side, right side or upside down side?

The sled has not been tipped left or right so no oil leakage from that.
I double checked the old oil filter and the o-ring is still on it so thats not the problem and I ran it till it was warm watching for leaks and the filter and cooler dont appear to have any leaks. (definetley not spraying from any where on to sensor)
How does the thread seal on the sensor, just by tightening?
Is it physically possible for oil to leak through the sensor if something was faulty?

I would say if it was over torqued when installed it might be cracked?

Think I just answered my own questions with a little research..
I would say the diaframe in side the switch is faulty causing the oil to pass through the switch and leak out the plug end.
New switch is on order!
Thx for all the advise everyone.
