I changed my oil separator and the pipe that goes from oil separator to the airbox pulled out of the air box.
Is there anything inside the air box that this pipe attached to? Or does the pipe just slide into the grommet in the airbox?
trying to upload picture but it says file is to large

Not attached to anything inside. Just slide it back in.

Finally got a picture to post.
just to verify this is correct? The pipe just sits loosely into the grommet in the air box? And nothing attached to the inside of the air box?

Yup you are exactly right. Just slides in loosely.

Thanks again! Really didn’t want to split the air box to check.
The pipe pulled out of the air box when I wasn’t watching so I wasn’t sure how it looked before it pulled out.

you would need to pull the air box out of the machine to split it. just had mine out and apart to clean oil out from a roll-over

I too have a oil in the airbox issue with my 2018 Viper and not from overfilling or a roll over. Does anyone think there would be issues by plugging the airbox hole that the separator tube goes into and attaching a hose to that tube and running it out the bottom of the sled thereby bypassing the airbox?

Should be just fine.
When adding a Hurricane Turbo the intake of course gets changed. The directions are to just vent that tube to atmosphere. I did exactly what you were suggesting -- added some hose to it to extend it down into the belly pan.

Thanks for the reassurance, I would imagine the original concept of the vent in the airbox instead of externally would be purely environmental.Should be just fine.

Yah I don't think they anticipated that oil would burp up into the airbox when smashing bumps or coming over good rollers.
