Does anyone know the size or where I can get a O-ring for the pickup screen at the bottom of the oil tank. I am changing my oil and it is in pieces. Yamaha part # is 93210-24001-00 but all the dealers around me are out of store and ordering it $10 to $17 shipping for a $3 part. Thanks for the help.

All I can suggest is to bring the old one to an auto parts or a hydraulics supplies store and match it up. Or buy an assortment pack and try some different sizes. It should be about the same circumference as the bottom part of the tank where it goes.

Have you had it out before? If not just reuse it. If you it's been out several times it's harder to get it back in. It does tend to swell some but with some careful persuasion you can put it back in again. It'll be metric I'm sure so the odds of the hydraulic shops keeping it in stock may be slim as well.

They are usually a stupid thickness as well. I have yet to have any luck with matching up any O-rings on any sled with the metric or standard o-ring kit. Most o-ring kits the rubber is thick. I think if you look at the bottom of the oil tank it fits into a recessed groove , so long as it fits there and is a tad bit thicker so it can compress and seal the hole you should be good to go.

I had a random O ring in my tool box that fit. Mine looked fine, but when I put it back together and started pouring my $15/Liter Yamahalube into oil tank and it pi$$ed out all over the ground, I needed to replace it. Go to local auto or hydraulic store.
