Need info on anyone who has used this new ski, rick from usi stated they used a pair on the apex last year to test, they were x2 stage 1 with shaper 6" carbides. Anyone else use them yet,or are they just to new,i can get a good price on a set just like i listed, and i am torn between these and slydogs, comments??? :jump:

Good luck. Methinks you'll have to decide if you want to be the guinea pig with 'em. They're new this year....and it hasn't snowed yet!

I like all the adjustability and features, but maybe a bit too complex. It adds yet another dimension of adjustments that need to be fine-tuned in conjunction with all the other adjustments we already have in the front and rear suspension. This could be a good thing, and it could also be bad.

Let us know!

I was considering these as well, but like craze1 stated all of that adjustability means a lot of mucking around until USI has an application guide established. I'm going Pilots.

By the sounds of it,rick sounded like he had laid a lot of ground work already,he had some good starting areas to make the skis work for each application.

i will be demo-ing a set this winter.
Ya lets hope they are the ticket,as they curently have the best all round adjustments for any ski i have ever seen..

I have a buddy who was running a set of SPX's last year.

He recessed the wear bar and shorted the ski a little bit. He loves them!

The Triple Threat skis are a little shorter and have the carbides recessed!

They should be great!

I hope some vendors have a set for sale at NOVI!

Hi rtx,yes i hope they work as advertised, cause my boy is buying them for me,as i bought his simmons last year lol now that was what i was going with ,until i saw an add for these new ones by USI,i love things that you can adjust,it just seems so right that i can personalize my owne ski, just the way i drive, which is very agressive so i dont mind alot of ski pressure, but i do not like the darting and nervousness of any ski,but the stock yammi ski really sucks, and we shimmed them used less carbide and screwed around with them far to often for me,knowing we were not making any headway with them,so i am looking foward to these new USIx2 skis, and i will post my results for anyone to ask questions on..

USI X2 skis

Did anyone get the USI x2 skis yet?

I ordered a set at Haydays the begining of Sept. and they keep telling me next week, for sure!!!!! I think it might be time to cancel and refund.
Anyone deal with USI or have these X2 Skis?
Thanks
