One hell of a Jump!!

I laughed so hard when I saw that! That guy over estimated how much speed he needed ... completely overshooting the landing. Even though you can't see his face, his body tells a "scared shipless" story in the air. Then, like a cat that just ran into glass patio door, he acts like he intended to jump that high and that far. So funny ... thanks for that, Tom!

LMAO, your welcome. I had to watch like 1o times and every time it made me laugh.

Lucky! He hit the throttle before landing and landed flat so he spread the impact across the whole sled. Nose first would have been real bad. Reminds me of the old days! Dumb! Dumb! Dumb!

I can't top it but I can add to it. I landed a 1974 440 MotoSki so hard I bent the rails out sideways but jumping sleds with 6 inches of travel just seemed like the right thing to do! Sorry not a Yami its a 1978 440 TNT FA with the hood off.

Me too but in the last 70's early 80's video cameras where not that popular and or winter friendly. I did have a 8mm windup movie camera but it didn't like the cold. My 12 year old brother was taking the shots with my Cannon AE1 35mm using Kodak asa 64 slide film. About a 700 dollar Camera then. I trusted my brother a lot.
