Hey guys,
Just installed a reverse case on my rx1. Unfortunately no matter what setting the lever is on the sled only has reverse. No grinding or anything. The lever seems to do nothing.
If somebody could point me in the right direction that would be great.

That's how we learn just why things work the way they do.

Ain't it the best to do things yourself? Even when it doesn't go right the first time or two, when you get it figured out and everything is done it just feels so good to sit back and know that if something goes wrong at a later date you can handle it. That's how i feel anyway when i repair something or tear something apart to change or add too it.

Make sure that no other gears are in backwards as well. When I blew my jackshaft bearing dad done the gear box side of things and installed a gear backwards. Resulted in the blowing of all the bearings again, a gear, and a trip to the shop because we didn't want to risk it again.

Yeah I double checked everything after I opened it back up. I should have clued in the first time though. I sat there staring at the assembled gears saying to myself "I have no idea how this could possibly work". When I put it back together properly the second time all of a sudden it made sense.
I spent an hour last night looking for the three
plastic ramps that go in the clutch. I have ordered
new ones so the only problem was if they had slid down the tunnel into the exhaust/engine area if I had
set them up there. After prayer, a lot of looking with
a flashlight I sat down in frustration. Pulled the clutch
off the shaft and lifted the two halves apart. There they sat inside, right where I put them for safe keeping.
I always say, You can't fix stupid, but I sure manage to shine a light on it.
