Hi guys, Im looking for some feedback on some mods I was thinking about doing this winter to my sled.
08 nytro, 144 studs, pilot skis, hindle slip on.

I would like to add ulmer clutch kit, k&n air filters, and power commander.
Has anyone done this mod? If so how was it, and what can I expect bottom, top end?

Any other suggestions on clutch kit? I hear ulmer is the way to go.

Thanks!

Have this step up on my 09 xtx with a full Excell exhaust. Its faster then hell.lol

I have a 08 rtx with full hindle, air box mod by hurricane, pc5 and 1.5 ripsaw. Had 2 speeds and auto tune last year also.........sled ripped pretty good but going with ulmer clutch. Not a fan of the 2 speeds. Do you have extroverts yet?

Overall power is increased but top end will not change much, its still a nytro and they are not lake racers. Bottom and mid its going to stretch your arms :sled1: ;)!

No I do not have extroverts, not something I was planning on but is it something necessary? What product were you thinking and why extroverts?

Without them the shorties ratchet pretty good stock but not necessary. Most use Wahl or avid. I would recommend them, the ratcheting drove me nuts.

You'll need to adjust fuel if you put on exhaust and filters. Yes it makes a difference when you put it all the mods on. You will notice a difference with just a clutch kit too

If your doing the pc5 and k&n you should go to a high flow exhaust as well, more air in more air out and fuel adjustment is required. Call Ulmer and speak with him.
