Opinion On Ulmer Stealth Mod Air Box

Yup I am sure Allen has them ready to go. At least last I talked to him they were ready

*Phazer Mod Airbox

Slightly improved low end HP!
*

3-4 HP gain on top end!
*

As quiet as stock so your buddies will never know!
*

Does not require any fuel injection mods!
*

$150 with air box exchange!
*

$225 without air box exchange!

For the exchange program simply send us the bottom portion of your air box and we will exchange it
for one of our Stealth MOD air boxes and return ship it the same day! 3-4 hp and as quiet as
stock so your buddies will never know!
***Please keep the air temp sensor and clamps when sending your air box to us!***

***There is no return or refund after receiving an air box. Yes the modification is simple, but we have spent the time and money to test and dyno this setup. You can easily lose 3-4 hp by altering the air box as well. This modification has been field tested & dyno proven. We will not accept returns or refund your money after you have seen the modifications and then decide you can modify your own.***

i have bullseyes , i cant really notice any difference (Don't recommend it) , i think hp loss . But the problem is with my nitrous kit , i might lose some nitrous threw the bullseyes. So im gonna buy this mod and get rid of the bullseyes and test it out .

The airbox mods, both Ulmer & pod-type, flat out work.

Ulmer says about 5hp and that is true. Simply removing the airbox lid gains 5hp & this has been dyno'd @ Dynotech Research. Even Bullseyes gave about 3hp no problem.

So it's obvious the stock airbox/filter is restrictive in some manner.

I am mailing my airbox away to Ulmer for the Airbox mod exchange also. I researched this to no end & decided to go this route.

Caution: extra air intake does push up youe HP a bit but also leans you out a bit. Run premiun or better yet get a PC3 or PC5.

ok the big question that noone has asked will this void my warranty?

If something bad happens to your motor, buy another airbox and install it before bringing it to the dealer. If nothing happens don't sweat it.

Much quicker 0-40. Faster response all over and a better pull on the top end. At muni on the Min Maintance road we ran 95-97 on the speedo where the stock sled pulled only 88-91

the Mod sled also had a PCV and an Excell exhuast

Ask Allen i think he was going to put together a kit. I just have to pull the Final fuel map out of the sled and get it over to him

What gearing do you use?
