I don't have a lid or I would try it out and if it is better I will make one. I guess I will find a second hand lid and get one and try it. Anyone got a used lid they want to sell???? lol

I have both on
Adding the fix lid to my stealth mod did lean out my wideband a bit, maybe like .2 if anything.
Also, no appreciable gains in kmh, as in, ran exactly the same back to back.
Im going to leave it on and keep testing, if I can prove there is no difference after all, im removing the lid.

Yamahammer485, How come your removing the lid? This is why I didn't make a lid yet cause I think I know why you did is cause ur sick of hearing it down the trail....lol. Where did you see it lean out on the top end.....at that note .2 isn't anything to worry about.

It leaned out evenly throughout the rpm band, including up top
Also, ya, if I cant prove it makes any power or top end increase, im removing up because I dont like the noise of it, it doesnt sound "clean" to me, like I was used to hearing
Btw, got 118mph on the gps the other day, and thats with a giant track, extros and 188 studs

Wicked.....The best I got on the dream meter is 120 with the back country.....mind you that's still on snow not ice. So on GPS I might hit 108mph....still not bad for a 1 3/4 in track.

To bad you didn't both at the same time. Just to see if it was even better.
