Just was out today and had soft snow with lots of loose tracked up conditions. Some darting and wandering. Do I need a little more toe out? It is set at 1/4 I know manual calls for 1/2 but I also have read on some of the more agressive bars you want less toe. Also I have the Apex mountain skis if that matters. Didn't notice this as much during colder hard packed trails ealier in the year.
Oh yeah these shapers are amazing! With the way these feel I can't imagine how good Snow trackers are.
Thanks.

Have you shimmed these skis?

toe out?
I set them straight. I don't think a half inch would change anything. I have a stick with a mark on it, hanging on the wall, and use it when I check the toe. I have woodies duallys, and have no darting. The limiter strap can affect darting.

Have not shimmed yet. Limiter is where it's been since Iv'e owned the sled. Just seemed strange how different everything was from warm conditions too cold. Just wondering if some more toe out will help. May just skip all that and do the shim trick.
