Currently I'm the first owner of my 2007 apex er with a little over 3,000 miles on it (Non-studded track). Do not ride it much except twice in Maine when my snowmobile club ventures up there for a week each time. I have a list of upgrades I can get done and want to know which 2 items on the list below should I focus on for this upcoming season. Thank you in advance for your help. (Nothing is wrong with the sled as of now everything still runs good)

13 millimeter stabilizer bar
Hyfax Extender Wheel Spacer Kit Monoshock
Mono shock rebuild/revalve
Steering Block(s) upgrade
4th wheel

Without studs, no need for 4th wheel.

If you don't ride aggressive, IMO, no need for bigger sway bar.

At 3k, shock should still be fine. Unless you're a big man (250+) I can't see a need for shock rebuild or big boy spring.

I guess if steering is sloppy, I'd get new steering bushings.

I have xtra wheels kits on both my sleds, & believe in them. So, those are a good idea.

Take a close look at your front suspension bushings. Any movement in the arms & they are shot. Maybe spend some coin there on oilites.

Otherwise, maybe look at creature comforts, like taller windshield, bar gauntlets, dually carbides for better handling, etc.

Shocks for a rebuild with that many miles and possible spring/ revalve if much over 200 pounds.
The other stuff is not needed.

I decided to go with the stabilizer arm...Since I am an aggressive rider weighing in at 165lbs. I am still on the fence with the doing the (6) wheels from excel or the rebuild of mono shock . Like I had mentioned before I have no issues with either of these just wanted to be proactive somewhere. I have already did the front suspension bushings. This will be last year for my track I could do those upgrades with the shock or wheels then? Keep your thoughts coming please. Thank you

Aggressive rider = snow trackers and 13mm sway bar. A 2" pivot riser pushed as far forward as possible will move you forward on the seat which helps keep the skis planted, one of the best mods I've done. jm2c

You wanna be pro-active: Change the drive axle bearing. GET THE Oil-lites and a Bulkhead saver. Slides are easier to change than a worn-out Bulkhead. 4th wheel kit if you like ditches/jumping your Apex.

snowman35, I really don't think any of the upgrades are going to make your riding experience any more enjoyable or make a noticeable difference on your sled. I personally would suggest getting a gps with trail maps loaded on it. ( I use a garmin tom tom with VV maping) this is a low cost upgrade that will make riding so much more fun when you can know were you are at all times , find new trails, shortcuts, gas, food... I have have spent thousands on aftermarket parts that without question improves the performance of the sled, but the more tinkering with the sled also equals more breakdown trouble. I ride thousands of miles each year with groups & by my self, and I would say nothing has made my riding more enjoyable than a gps I added last year. Also add non stock skis to your list, stock skis suck, they will make your riding more enjoyable.
