Hearing from people in my group that have try'd the Viper that the seat is too hard & you slide forward when hitting bumps & your knees end up crushing the knee pads! (Just like a Rev)
Also Handlebars are too low for a 6'2 rider?
What do you guys with some miles on think?

I like the seat, raised my bars with a six inch riser.

Seat feels very good to me. It's soft but at the same time keeps you high in the saddle. Hitting your knees I can see may be an issue. I will put more miles on with actual trail riding before I buy knee pads. I'm 6' even and handle bar height is absolutely perfect for me for sitting and standing.
Knee pads are pretty much a must on this chassis. Especially with any aggressive driving.

I agree, I put knee pads on mine and my knees are always using them. I'm 6'0

The Yamaha Deluxe knee pads come with plastic rivets to mount. Do Not Use! In colder weather they will break off even on their own let alone with knee pressure. I have already lost one. I will be using aluminum rivets on the next set.
