Oversize wheels on 22 sidewinder ltx le 137" issue

Removed the whole kit today and will return and get correct size for what will work for me for now. Track only has 1000 Kim’s on it. Perhaps in a seasons time the 8.5” would have been fine.
Thanks all.

Has anyone tried the 8.5 wheels with a offset axle? Or is it just the 8.5 wheels being to tight to the transfer bar?

I been running the 8.5 on a 18 tcat I have about a 1/4” space between the wheels and bar. I recently switched to the 8” wheels The 8.5” hang a 1/4” below the sliders I noticed my double backers I have in the center of my track were taking a beating and getting bent My thought is with the wheels hanging below the sliders might be causing this.
I wouldn’t run an oversized wheel without it being offset up to keep it flat with the bottom of the sliders

I've been reading that the 19's and up needed a smaller oversize wheel. 8.2? Something with the transfer bar being to tightvtobthe 8.5 wheels.

I was able to run these wheels on the 2020 and plus. Yes its tight! What I did instead of the bar (I took the bar out), was put 2 of the stoppers that are on the opposite side of the rear scissor for preventing it from coming forward. They will also prevent the scissor from hitting the rear wheels.

I thought about leaving the bar out but probably not a good idea. Might have to go back to the 8" wheels.
If you want to sell the 8.5" wheels I'll buy them
