Paint your windshield. Mine turned out good.

This works very well for me:

My brother is into RC car racing big time. They paint their plastic bodies from the inside with RC paint. It is specifically made to adhere to plastic.
I just painted my 2011 red xtx windshield candy red just like the sled. Looks good.
The trick is after you paint the red on then the silver backing to make the candy have the metallic look. Or gold backing for a darker candy red.
When I'm done with the colors I use water base wood clear to seal it so it will not rub off on the back. Use water base because that is also what the RC paint is and then there is no reaction.
Also being painted on the inside there are no snow/ice chips. Just make sure the surface is very clean before you start.

RC colors come in some awesome colors and they also make chrome.

I painted one chrome last year and rode all winter with no cracking, chipping, nothing. I was worried about the cold, but no problem.
