I'm sure this has been discussed before but how difficult is it going to be to maintain the painted tunnel, mine is black. Can you touch up with a spray can and keep it looking good or do some of the plastic tape protection. I have not had a painted tunnel since a Skidoo Olympic back in the day.

My thoughts are - painted is WAY BETTER then the stupid aluminum color! And yea I see no reason A guy couldn't touch it up as needed over time. I have always ordered the limited models from cat just to get the painted tunnel. And not interested in spending time polishing aluminum when I could be riding or doing clutch details or even cleaning my clutches

Cat sells a touch up paint bottle. I have one here from my 2016 ZR 9000 I just sold. Its the same color as the black tunneled sidewinders. Not sure on the other colors. The paint is actually pretty durable. I had a 12-13 and 16 turbo with painted tunnels.
