Panel Fitment

I do understand what he is saying and to be honest the Apex and Nytro alignment on the panels was no better. I think many are more critical when it comes to these Yamacats and the days of how much better Yamahas fit and finish is have been over for many years. All the sled makers have very good f&f these days.
True but use of wood screws all over makes ya wonder. Never had a issue with them though. Just takes some getting used to.

Take the side panel off. Then there are a pair of torx screws holding the upper panel on. Loosen them (t30 I believe) and you should be able to move panel a bit to get it where you want it. I believe. It goes into a clip that pushes on also, so may need to nudge that around a bit if they don’t go ez enough. But that should solve it

Hey I tried this and it did help a little. Still not perfect but I can live with it. Oh by the way I think Yamaha working with arctic cat was a excellent move for both company's. I glad they did.

Glad it helped a bit. Might be more ways to get it closer but my sleds 45 min from me at the moment :( so cant look and tinker. Mine and my fathers are off a touch. And I’ve noticed when putting side panels on that things seem to adjust a bit too. So play around I think you’ll get it

Two things do this on PTO side panel.

Screws can help adjust it some, and air box.

When I had air box removed mocking up my CAI, I had a nice tight fitment. I did loosen screws and pull outward on the wing below window. That brings things very close.

Reinstalled airbox as I will be riding mine stock for a few weeks initially, and some gap came back....So Ill wait till im running CAI permanently to do final adjustments.

I have the same issues on my SW... I noticed that the AC panels on the XF9000 fits better because of the rounded shape
