None, looking now!
Anyone run this with their NOS system or is it just for boosted sleds?

I will be running the PCIII, so I may not need this thing at all. Just thought I'l ask this curious question.

Thanks.....

My buddy runs a knock box on his turbo....couldnt hurt with NOS but not sure if its needed,i believe all these sytems are rather safe with premium fuel for detonation....

Maybe if you go into a Higher HP SHOT this would be more of a benifit.

Probably a better thing to add with NOS would be a wideband A/F Gauge...which would help dial in your NOS to safe mixture levels.

I like the idea of a tuner to be able to increase the rev limiter and to adjust the timing.

The wideband is also be a very important tool, but that is all it tells you is whether you are rich or lean it doesn't pinpoint the reason, so for tuning nitrous a fuel pressure gauge and nitrous pressure gauge are more important and they are a lot cheaper than a wideband. JMO.

For ultimate tuning it would be nice to have a wideband with the other two gauges and I plan on getting a wideband to run on my Supercharged Nitrous Mustang. Looking for 10's. YEEE HAAA!!!!

I was thinking of a fuel pressure gauge, actually. I'm not concerned about the bottle pressure as I am getting the Holtzman system. From what I hear, I won't need it.
I think I will have everything covered with the PCIII, Fuel pressure, and Air/fuel. These will also reduce my costs when I decide to boost this sled.
Hopefully, in the future, a year or two, I plan to hook all the gauges and my NOS to a Turbo or Super. That aught to get me down the trail and accross the lake in a hurry. lol

Can you use the Holtzman in boosted applications ? You may want to look into that if you haven't already before you lay down the dough it would sure suck to have to buy another or have a useless N2O kit. My buddy supercharged his Apex and he had the BOSS system with a controller over a $1000 kit that he can nolonger use.

P.S. anybody interested in a BOSS system witha tfi box?

That would suck. Man. Perhaps I better do more digging than I have. I just "#*$&@ u me d " that any kit would work. Darn it. I thought I had a game plan here. Now I have to start all over. lol

Because the APEX/Attack BOSS is a dry kit with an EFI controller and the supercharger somes with it's own controller they aren't compatible. If you use the old style BOSS without the controller and spray the supercharger intake then I suppose it would work.

I can't see why the knock box wouldn't detect knock with a motor on spray. When I used to spray my talon if it detected knock the knock sensor would pull timing from the N20 so I am sure it would work on your sled. Knock from deto is knock doesn't matter if its boosted or sprayed.

i have a boss system on my apex. all you have to do is get the box reprogramed for the supercharger. i dont understand why they didnt tell your buddy that. if u have any questions about the tfi box just call dobeck performance cuz they actually make them but boss each vendor puts their nitrous, turbo, or supercharger program in them.
