My parking brake broke the other day. Removed the old one and in with the new. Problem is I can't attach at both end at the same time. If I tie one side up then the other end is too short. Is there a specific way to install the cable? I'm checking with the manual with no luck. Google with no luck and this site with no luck. I'm sure i'm not the only one who went through that dilemma. Help needed please.

Loosen off all barrel adjusters.
Connect the brake cable at the parking brake calliper.
Use a clamp to hold the calliper closed.

This should provide enough slack to attach the end at the brake lever.

I'll give that a try. Txs a lot. She is a b...h to replace

Had to put it in the parking brake part first at the bottom. Then attach the top part on the handlebars, then slide cable in bracket on top by the handle brake lever. Then down at the brake caliper and pulled the cable in the bracket and screwed it in. Something that took 1 minute to take out and 4 hours to figure how to install the new one. Thanks for the help.
