Okay well I let my old man take my SE out for the weekend and I think he rode it with the parking brake on. The parking brake will not stop the sled from rolling back when loading it on the tilt trailer. I looked at the belt and it seems fine.
So the question is: can i adjust the parking brake cable so it engages or do i have to replace the whole parking brake assembly down on the brake disc. There is a noticeable decrease in the cable tension when i engage the park brake now. And the hand brake still works fine. Any help is appreciated thx.

I will take a look at that. How exactly do I adjust it? Is there a bolt I tighten?
Does the chain tension have anything to do with riding with the parking brake on? Because I just got the sled back from its 10 hour check at the dealer a couple of weeks ago. They should have checked it right?

yah, they should have checked/adjusted it during the 10hr service.

the parking brake is not part of the hyd brake system. You'll see a thumb screw adjuster barrel at the end of the cable. Loosen the jam nut and tighten the cable free play.
