I'm interested in this too. I put my spring order in for a blue/white RTX SE and want to get a the seat to take my son on rides. He's getting too big to sit in front of me.

In order to install the seat you need to pre install the heavy duty bumper with tow hitch attachment.
The removal of the original bumper requires that you drill out dozens of rivets and 4 , I believe, are industrial, hardened rivets that are a bugger to remove.
The replacement bumper comes with all the mounting hardware required for installing the heavy duty bumper and hitch.
My wife's LTX Viper has a rear rack attached to her bumper.
Hope this helps.
PS the seat has a weight limit, might want to verify the seat will meet your weight requirements.

I had the dealer install her HD bumper, good decision, based on discussion with the mechanic!

Yup, I'm in the same boat; my son is getting too big now. would like 2-rider option without a fullsize 2up machine. I was able to demo the Arctic Cat ZR7000 sno pro (no yami demo rides at that event) definitely liked the ride vs my apex. Will be considering a Viper spring order after reading through other comments here.
That rototeck seat looks well made, interesting option. http://www.rototeck.com/en/snowmobile/t ... -2-up-seat
