pciii,excell,k&n On New Fx Nytro?

For a Friend? Is it better to break in a new nytro with or without the pciii,excell,and k&n filter kit? How long should someone wait? until the 500 mile oil change? Thanks

I would wait personally, just so you can get a feel for the sled and how it was stock then begin your changes to see what they are doing for you.

Also it would probably make the warenty people keep quiet.

Go for it right away. I have even seen turbo,s installed on a new sled & they run hard. What would be the reason for waiting to install stuff???

I say put it on right away. Its not gonna void the warranty anymore now then it will 500 miles later. And I think if the mods are gonna add 12 hp they'll add 12 hp whether the motor is broken in or not.

I would as well like to break it in first, but yes 500miles would sound about right to start your mods!
