11,000 miles of hard riding.....all the welds broke and couple of studs ripped it apart. I loved the header and not disappointed in the product or the service I received from excell ( they offered me a smoking deal on a new, but with the low Canadian dollar I couldn't convince the boss)
I can say this, my sled is slower since I've gone back to the stock exhaust

Let us know if/how your new map works out. Am thinking of going back to stock exhaust also. It sounds awesome but maybe a little loud for an old guy.

On my excell header the primaries all bent due to heat and we're no longer parallel so I could not get the flex pipes to seat without bending them too much for comfort. When I took the header off I also took the k&n filters off, definitely noticed it not pull as hard up top after going back to stock.

ya I love the sound of the KN's- my brothers sled doesn't have them and it's just not the same

Try it with your existing map, nothing to lose.
If it doesn't work, if you purchased from Ulmer he gave you the tools to change it, when I purchased from Allen he gave me the tools/software to make changes.
His map adds fuel all the way through so if you use it you will defiantly not hurt anything.
