PCV or Gems for stage 1 s/c Apex?

I recently installed stage 1 MPI s/c for 08 apex, I was wondering what fuel controller is best? The gems I received is faulty and MPI is sending me another one. I have a PCV also, can I use it with my s/c kit? Just a bit frustrated with the gems and looking for other options as I haven't tried my sled yet.

Well it's all up to you and how much tuning experience you have. Everybody has had a gems or has one. There's a lot of people running them and have some good tunes for them and as far as the pcv not many here but with base maps and then you have to fine tune from there.

Guys like ulmer have pcv with close maps. Unless you want to dyno it with the pcv and get the most out of your kit and clutching. That is what he is doing with my Nytro stage one.

Will my PCV will a decent map work with an auto tune?

Not unless it has the harness for the map sensor. Allen might get you close but after that your on your own.

Yes he did, just hard to get one now because of demand. That is another alternative. Sell yours and buy psychosled setup. Customer service is key here with the PCV. He has all his tested in real trail conditions and not just on a dyno.

physcosled isn't available for apex only nytro right now. Apex is coming soon.

I run the GEMS been flawless I guess I have been lucky. Settings are in my sig if it helps.

Thanks....What elev are your Gems settings for? Im running at low elevation(0-1500ft) at 5-7lbs of boost.

He's in Iowa which is pretty flat.
