Phazar / Venture Lite Bearings

I notice that there have been instances of the Axle Bearing in the Chaincase packing it in on the RS Venture. I have a friend who lost one with under 1500miles. Anyone have any information on the Axle Bearings in the VL / Phazar. I have 2000km on mine and wonder if I should consider replacement. Never had this problem with my Polaris or Ice buildup for that matter.

dont know if this will help but i have 11000 km on my phazer and never had a bearing failure

Appreciate hearing that, feel a little more confident now. My thought , if the Factory removed the Seal from the Chaincase Side Axle Bearing the Oil should take care of any wear. Question is did they?
