The final points for the year, Kris won Junior Fan, 2nd in 600 Fan ( with his 2-stroke phazer ), he was racing with some of M.I.R.A.'s best Pro racers in the 600 Fan class, and he won Semi-Pro 500 on this 4-stroke phazer. BUT he had to forfeit the championship in that class, because it wasn't classified to race in sprints. It was classified to race in sno-x, cross country, but not for sprint racing. YAMAHA could have had a championship with the new phazer for the 06-07 .

There excuse was, they didnt think it would be competitive for sprints. But untill you race it aginst something else, how do you know. And you can't race a new 4-stroke untill it's classified. But now we know it will . I think when a new 4-stroke comes out, weather it's a Yamaha, Polaris, Cat, or Ski-doo, it should be classified in every type of snowmobile racing. I wanted in the werse way to brag about him winning. But that didnt happen, till now.

I think he's planning on racing it. But ISR hasant gave him a yes or no yet. But ya, if he could find a little more on topend, that would be nice. He pulls the other sleds off the line to mid-range and that's it. But then again it has stock clutch set up and stock gears. Kris drive's it in to the coner's alot harder than the other guys and that's how he stayes with the other sleds on longer tracks. At Drummond Island MI., that race track was smaller, and he ended up winning his final in Smi-Pro 500. My brother has a picture of him holding the checker flage with the 4-stroke phazer. When he E-mails it to me I'll post it on here.

Phazer is now placed in the 440 liquid class per drag racing for sure. I believe it may be that way for all forms of ISR sanctioned racing, but haven't found out for sure!
