aha jealous yea deff not. i find it very hard to believe that u ride it hard and nothing is broke and i think that there are many others here that will agree with me. one guy on here just put his 3rd w-arm in.

Think what you want but at the end of the day I know I ride my Phazer hard and I know I've never broke anything and thats all that matters to me.

Sorry about your luck with your Phazer.. :tg:

Preventive maintenance FTW.

You know, it is strange how many conflicting reports you hear on Phazer durability. I didn't have a single problem with my 07 FX and the current owner has not either. Kind of confuses a bit!

I have just over 3000 mi on mine. Cracked a head pipe/exhaust, which was warrenteed, that's all that broke, but with all this talk, i'm afraid to ride the dang thing and am ready to sell it. I can handle the rear skid, but starter and anything computor or 4 stroke is over my head. My dealer called me and offered me a good deal on a 2010 Vec and he'll give me $2800. for mine. That's so much money though! I'm about ready to just buy a 550 Rev? But my FX is better then that. Confused....... :o|

im selling mine for an mxzx 600 sdi my step dad has an mxzx 550f, 6000mi not one problem. just under powered. the phazer is quicker but the mxz will do 85-90 on hard pack according to the spedo

ski doos have there issues also structural and motor wise. they all have issues and always have it is just the internet gives everyone a place to bitch. IM not so HO lol

absolutely i agree. ive heard of ppl not having good luck with motors in ski-doo's but they've all ways been great for us. last year i was on an 01 mxz 500f, at 9700mi crank bearing went. thats the only issue we ever had with that sled. and no problems with either of our 06 550f revs about 6000mi on each

Yamaha drive shaft bearings are supposed to be changed every 8000km(4900mi). If you don't change them and then the bearings fails your lookin at changing a $100 speed sensor too. Last weekend my dads buddies bearing went on his 06 Nytro after 15,000km. $351 later he was ready to go. I rolled over 9,000km last weekend and picked up a bearing yesterday. Plan on changing it this week.

And just as some back up, the same bearing went on my dads Attak after 12,000km and the speed sensor also went.
