Hey guys, went to install a 2 inch riser on the phazer and started it up, ran like #*$&@, throttle pegged and sent the sled into the front of our truck... no damage to truck, but tweaked the upper a arm a little, i think i can fix it w a come along.... but.....
the damn Code 84 wont clear? I checked the routing on the throttle, removed the rox riser, started it up and moved it a little, and still wont clear up! HELP!!!!!

if you have proper freeplay in the throttle, it should clear with about 20 feet of movement forward or backward.
I can get it started and it takes off, and then its like the throttle is pinned, and it stops..... how can i tell if the throttle has proper free play?

Take of the air booko r you can take of the right uper side pale by the headlight, you can see thebutterfluy valve pivit. I should be wide open just shy of hitting handle bars and starts to open right after the tors clicks.
Well i think i have it..... adjusted the throttle cable per Rick (Mr Yamahagirl)'s advice... cleared the 84 code but now have to wait till tomorrow as all the popping and stuff has fouled the plugs....
