Phazer Custom Exhaust

I very highly doubt you'll lose power. Hauck's get R done kit uses daul Supertrapps with open end caps. Judging by how mine sounds with an open end cap, I bet that setup is LOUD, (although they claim 84Db)

If you look real close you'll see the wierd Supertrapp logo, with the 4 wavy lines in this pic. And of course the 6 bolts holding on the end cap, gives it away, it's just a regular set of Supertrapps.

If you flip your seat over, you'll see you have a nice alum. heat shield under there from the factory. (Thanks Yamaha).

I haven't had any issues at all, but that's 50 miles on the lake.

You need something REALLY hot to melt plastic over 2 inches away. Think of any car / motorcycle /ATV ECT. these things don't have snow cooled exhaust and the placement of neibouring body parts are no farther apart.

what about the kerker performance series exhaust kit from superstrapp u think that would work its for the FZR600

Anything for that bike shoud fit the sled with minimal efforts.

Just put mine on... 16 definitely.. I have to fab up a mid pipe this summer, but for now its offset.

I ran 8 discs with no cap, and well I didn't think it was too
loud until my bro in law took it for a spin... he was gone out of sight and I could hear it echoing off the forest.
I put the cap on, and its much nicer, but I still want to tone it
down a bit, so i'll try the 4 discs and a cap.
For those of you with mtn lites or with the tool box back
there, you'll want to aim the tip up or away from the metal..
the heat from the exhaust hits the tunnel and colors it.. I
changed mine before long.

I ended up getting the incorrect inlet size 2.25, but my shop was able to easily make an adapter pipe... no big deal.
I do have 2 extras(with the 2.25 inlet) that I'll probably put
up on ebay(unless my supplier, does something to fix the order)

Are you sure it gains as much power as you are looking for? Yes, Hauck's kit uses the Supertrapp but it is their own core that makes the power. Also they had to use duel pipes, because the power was not there with a single pipe.
