Looking to get a 2nd sled sometime this winter or order one for next season. Looking at phazer for a kick around trail sled and with 7 gallon tank was curious at what the milage you get out of a tank of gas on these.

Also I am a big guy around 6'3" and 230lbs, Am I wasting time looking at a phazer or it is going to pull my big azz around :) :jump:

Thanks

aj

I get around 120-130 miles per tank depending on how heavy my thumb is. This thing is plenty torquey enough to haul you. I go 250lbs and have a blast on it. :4STroke:

Same here. 250lbs and plenty of fun banging around on the sled. Milage is usually around 14 to 18 mpg, thats even running her hard.

It's my main sled. Trail and off trail ride. It's similiar to a race 440 for low end and mid range grunt. 0-70 is what it's all about. You've got to experience it to understand, it is just a blast.

I am 225 and my MTX will do most everything my 6 and 700 Cats used to. Top end...no, but how often do you do 80-100mph in the hills? Heck, I geared all my previous sleds down to get more torque. This thing had gobs of torque stock. So far I am very happy with this sled.

I'm the same size as you. Last 2 years it was my main trail sled. Usually 90-100 miles when the light came on. I don't think I would push it to 120 or 130. This was riding hard. Most fun I've had on a trail sled in a long time.

My girlfriend got 20 mpg riding pretty easy in March. She only weighs 115 though and the 07 FX only has 1400 miles on it. Fun sled for a 500 4 banger!

I bought one for my wife but ride it myself a fair bit. I'd say 18 mpg or better. It's a fun little sled for local rides through twisty trails. It's a pain to keep changing the springs from my 100 lb wife setting to my 250 lb setting. I also have a couple of upgraded Rx1's

Thanks for all the answers, This Snodeo in Old Forge I am going to test ride on if there is snow.
With having a boosted sled, this is all I need for a trail rider, to have fun on.

The more I hear about it, reminds me of my old 94 xcr 440, just a total blast on the trails.

Thanks again

aj

i went on the northern ty ride last year, they all had rx1s and i never filled up and i made it back to the truck on fumes? last i seen i was at 3 bars and went down quick from there.lol but the rx1s already went thru a tank at noon.

when i ride it soft i can get 20-22 mpg but when i ride hard i get like 16-18
