My phazer overheated really bad. The oil was almost boiling. the light never came on, and she lost all of her power. she still works (starts) but she fills the shed with blue smoke in about 2 mins. anyone know what could be wrong?
The blue smoke could be oil getting past the rings and burning off during combustion.
Sounds like the oil rings collapsed from the heat.
Pull a compression check. If it's good you can run it
but expect fouled plugs. The only other thing that
would cause it would be valve guides and they usually
smoke on start up and deceleration the worst. You did
change the oil I hope.
