just picked up a 09 phazer rtx and have some questions.

1 what is the purpose of using the vmax secondary
2 is anybody using a rollover shutoff ( I'd rather not mess with a tether )
3 looking for a source for some orange handguards with mirrors in them

1 - much easier to tune (way more parts available, easier assembly). Stock phazers over-rev a lot.

someone else will chime in on your other 2. But adding that vmax secondary and tuning it properly gave my sled a huge boost in performance and overall driveability

It's also more reliable. The original is an old design that uses a C clip that is known to fail and destroy the secondary.

1 what year vmax secondary are people using ?
2 does the stock belt still fit properly
3does it help with the engine braking

as to the hand gaurds, you could always use a powermadd set with their mirror kit.
