Hello Everyone!

New to the Wesbite!

Bought a new phazer last season put about 1200KM on it and now its time for some upgrades!

First upgrade will be the Yamaha GYTR silencer. Anyone had any dealings with this?

My big upgrade is the rear suspension, I believe my rear shock is blown already, maybe someone could help me out with this. Finished up the season last year and put the sled away. Took it out the other day and noticed the rear shock was totally depressed, lifted it up and 20 minutes later it was depressed again, so I'm just guessing its blown.

My plan is to upgrade both the rear and center shock to the fox pro's with anti bottom kit. Just looking for some input from anyone with any input on my plans?? Its not cheap to convert so I want to make sure its worth it.

The GYTR silence is actually made by Skinz, it's their Ultra Q model. You might be able to find it cheaper under their name.

I have one and like it. It's louder and sounds better in my opinion and it's a lot lighter.

Thanks for that information! I just was on the website both are roughly same price.

I see in your signature you have the fourth wheel kit and anti bottom kit on your phazer how do you find both those add ons?

4th wheel kit eliminate much ware on the slides?
Also the anti bottom kit find its a big help or?

A 4th wheel kit goes on the rear to help keep the track in line/ more stability too, it doesn't help with the slide issue.

The low snow wheel kit mounted near the front rail curve is said to help slider wear as thats the part being worn out faster. I didn't put them on last year and went thru 2 sets in 1800 miles, this year for sure.

If you have re-buildable shocks why not just have them charged & re-valved for your weight/ riding style? Way cheaper & probally just as easy...
I'm 275# and my suspension is now dead on, it rides plush to medium stiff with just the normal tweeking done to it. Factory shocks working like some expensive name brand....
Been told a correct shock set up should bottom out sometimes, it's working properly.
