The seat on my Phazer is alot softer than my fathers. Maybe it's because it has 2000 more miles on it, so the seat has had more rear end hours.

Or recess a modified bicycle gel seat cover in the foam, I've seen that done on motorcycle seats and it seems to work well.

What you need is better rear shocks or at least a revalve. I wouldnt blame the seat, the GT skid is just too soft.
